Clan: - Raiyate Clan
-The Raiyate Clan is a lesser known extended family of skilled shinobi within Kumogakure no Sato who all all bore the reccesive gene for the Hakumei Kaminari (Twilight Thunder) Kekkei Genkai. This similarity is what brought the group of skilled shinobi together roughly ten years ago and has kept them close since. But their success as a prominent shinobi group was to be short-lived as the war between Konohagakure and Kumogakure broke out. It was at this time that the entire group of shinobi within the Raiyate house were pulled into the front lines of combat, where they were all eventually slaughtered leaving only their young and elderly back at the village to carry their name. At the end of the war with Konohagakure, the few survivors of the Raiyate house that hadn't gone into battle seperated and went their own ways, leaving only the large mansion that housed their clan behind as a reminder of what once was. Because of this, little was ever discovered of developed within or about the Raiyate Clan and they were practically exterminated before they could expand and grow to become anything greater.

Clothing and Armor
Arashi choice and style of dress is one that tends to be found slightly unusual in both color and sensibility. Unusually colored because of the bright mustard yellow coloration of several articles of clothing he wears, and unusually sensible because of how loose and bright his clothing is. But if you were to approach Arashi and inquire personally about his clothing, he would reply in the only arrogant way he knew how before feigning ignorance. "What're you talking about? There's nothing that could better fit Kumo no Kaminari Kiba!"

On his upper torso Arashi wears a thin black mesh tee-shirt made of a simple cotton fabric, designed for maneuverability and comfort, with sleeves that reach roughly half-way down his biceps and end in a thick black hem. Over his mesh shirt he wears a simple and thin protective armored vest made of kevlar, that straps around his body underneath his armpits and over his shoudlers. It is worn to grant him some decent protection for his chest and upper abdoman from physical blows and sharper weapons while in combat, but leaves his stomach completely unprotected. Over his vest and mesh shirt, Arashi wears a very distinct white shirt, one that is unique to him and him alone throughout all of Kumogakure no Sato. The shirt is loose upon his frame, is a opaline white color, and is made from a durable and thick cotton-like fabric that is designed to protect Arashi from harsher winds and mildly colder weathers without needing extra clothing for warmth or protection.

But those are not the only features that make his white shirt unique, the left sleeve is long and loose, long enough to hang just past his hands while his right sleeve is shorter, much shorter as it only comes down to about a quater of the way down his bicep and exposes the mesh sleeve beneath it, it also has a extended collar that is about two inches in length and is sniff enough to make it stick up around Arashi's neck and makes it hard to see anything around his neck unless he leans over or you look down upon him. As a last layer of clothing for his upper torso, Arashi wears a thin, cotton jacket that comes down to just below his chest in length and leaves the middle of his chest open and exposing the white shirt beneath. This jacket of his is a mustard yellow collor, with the inside being a charchaol grey color, and has no sleeves at all, leaving much of Arashi's white shirt still exposed and is only worn for visual appeal. Arashi also wears bandage wrapping around both his hands and wrists to protect them from getting scraped or cut up when fighting performing jutsus, he also wears a charcoal grey bracelet on his right wrist with a three Peridot gems attached to it that each bear the Kanji symbol for thunder on them.

For the lower half of his body, Arashi wears a pair of loosely-fit charcoal grey pants. His pants are made of a durable yet light fabric that helps protect from harsh enviroments and weather while granting the wearer a comfortable and maneuverable fit, and feels much like cotton to the touch yet isn't. It is also worth noting that Arashi's pants bear no zipper or regular pockets on them. Over his pants he wears a thick, durable charcoal grey waist wrap, made of a leather-like material that is still as light as cotton, that sits snuggly over his waist and extends in length to just two inches below his knees, leaving an upside-down v-shaped opening in in the middle of his front that exposes the inside of this legs. To hold his waist wrap to his body, Arashi wears a simple mustard-yellow obi, made of cotton, that is tied tightly directly over his groin region.

Over his ankles, he wears a pair of tan shin guards, made of a heavy, durable fabric much like leather but without the rough inflexable texture, which his pants are tucked into loosely. Though they are thick and heavier then just about everything on his person, Arashi's main purpose for wearing the shin guards is not for protection but for training as he keeps roughly twenty pounds of weights sewn into each of them. His shin gaurds are the only real articles of clothing that Arashi wears that are not loose-fitted and are actually snug to his ankles and shins. For footwear he wears a pair of common charcoal grey sandals that bear a great resemblence to normal shoes with the exception that the there is no zipper, laces, and the toe of it is removed to expose the toes. His sandals are snuggly fit to his feet, made of a durable faux-leather and bear a wide mustard-yellow stripe upon it that extends from the toe all the way to the ankle of the sandals.

Arashi also wears several other articles on his person that are worth noting even if they are not clothing or armor. The first of these articles being the twin small, silver hoops that he has peirced in both his ears, to accent his features. Next is the long katana that he has tucked into his obi behind him at a forty-five degree angle toward his right side over his rear, easily within reach of his grasp should he feel inclined to swiftly draw it from it's saya. strapped to his left thigh, partly concealed by his waist wrap, is his shinobi tool pouch that stores his important scrolls, an assortment of tools, and his often too-thin wallet. On his opposing thigh, he has his kunai/shuriken holster strapped, also partly concealed by his waist wrap, which can store up to a dozen kunai and roughly two dozen shuriken all at once without tearing the holster. Arashi also keeps one kunia tied into the inside of his left sleeve, with durable string, in case he needs to swiftly arm himself without arousing suspicioun from those around him.

Physical Appearance
Arashi's physical appearance is one that not many shinobi can say they haven't seen within their occupation as agile soldiers. Arashi stands at 180 cm (5' 11") tall and weighs 64 kg (141 lbs), a figure that goes well with his overall body structure and age. Arashi, with his thin and agile figure, is someone who sacrifices greater endurance and strength for the benefits of greater speed, moderate strength, and the added benefits of agility, flexability, and maneuverability that comes with having the build he does. Arashi's body, at first glance, looks to be scrawny due to his baggy clothes but in reality that isn't the truth, his boy is long and slim for his age, with defined and lightly toned arm, chest, and abdoman muscles and very well defined leg muscles which make him a perfect candidate for anything requiring speed and agility.

He has a almost pale skin-tone that accents his pin straight straw-colored hair, which is unique in it's own right. His hair is an interesting thing within itself, often worn in an unusual spiked style that resembles urchin spikes, with his hair having long, thicker spikes, at his hairline, that come smaller and thinner the furthe back the go until they end at the nape of his neck. This particular hairstyle of Arashi exposes the fact that he has unevenly cut hair, being long nearer his forehead and progressively becoming shorter the further back over his head you go. But this feature alone is one of Arashi's more distinctive ones, as it is his personal mark for his innate talent for lightning and thunder based jutsus.

His hair does well to highlight his facial features and do them justice. His face is slim with little to no baby fat, which often leaves at the but end of jokes regarding he amount of space left within for his brain. He has a smooth, crisp complextion that helps to highlight his pale face better and has a slim jawline that extends down to a stub of a chin with absolutely no facial hair to be spoken of. His eyes are a not small yet not large either, are slightly oval in shape, and are home to twin sapphire blue orbs that tend to exude whatever emotion Arashi is feeling, and are marked by thin straw-colored eyebrows that go well with them. His nose is small and slim, with a stubby end and his lips are thin with a small dimple over the fulcrum of his top lip, bear little color that makes them seem just as pale as his skin-tone. Because of how his mouth appears to be smaller from the way his thin, small lips appear, it is a common joke about how they hide a monster, in reference to his rather loud mouth.

Personality
Arashi has a very hot-blooded outer persona, seeing that he tends to make rash decisions and have internal conflicts over becoming too emotionally involved in situations of all sorts. He has to struggle with the fact that despite his lonely upbringing, he tends to wear his feelings on his sleeve. being that he's such an extrovert, his heart is usually in the right place but keeping his temper back and his head clear is always an issue for Arashi and his biggest challenge in any social or combat setting.

But to look past his over-bearing outer persona and rugged shinobi training, you could hope to see the defining features within Arashi that make him who he is. Arashi is a proud, constantly honest, and a warm-hearted person who is often enthusiastic and charismatic in his actions, even if they often lead to the exposure of his rigidity, intolerant side that tends to make things overly dramatic. He is always self-motivated, as outside sources of influence tend to have little to no effect on him when it comes to his actions and choices in life, and only a handfull of people have managed to get past that part of his personality. Notably, Arashi is also a vain person, often running to the nearest salon upon his return from missions yet doesn't complain when push comes to shove and things get down and dirty. It is also worth noting that he has a fondness for flowers, specifically the marigold and sunflower, and birds, and even owns a messenger sparrow he nicknamed "Yate".

Combat Style
Raiyate Arashi enters the field of battle with a style all his own, built on maximizing his speed and agile maneuvers and attunement with his body and soul, to defeat the opponent. To achieve this effectiveness, he trains and prepares himself by constantly meditating when alone and training in two different styles of taijutsu while also training in kenjutsu and incorperating the swordplay. The first style of taijutsu he trains in is one that is fully offensive, it's purpose being to teach a user to effectively combine speed and power to gain the power to do physical damage in the form of breaking bones and decreasing the opponent's effectiveness through sheer force. The other style takes a complete twist on the first, basing itself around training a user to train the soul aswell as the body to effectively learn to understand their chakra circulatory system and master it. This effectively allowing the user to enable themselves to unconciously rech within themselves and grant them the capability to neautralize and use an opponenet attacks and movements against them.

Because of this mixture of taijutsu styles and the incorperated kenjutsu, Arashi's melee style of fighting has become something of a unique thing to many around him because of it. Using his enhanced speed and agility, Arashi effectively incorperates hastier actions in both the offensive and defensive, making great use of acrobatics in the form of rolls, flips, and other maneuvers to constantly evade attempts to injure him. As such, he also makes use of that speed in his attacks, using his agility as his aid in his combat effectiveness in both his forceful and neutralizing attacks. The whole of his offensive being that he incorperates both attacks that use damaging full-force punchs and kicks in a variety of ways to injure the opponent and attacks that use the opponents attacks against them by meeting, neutralizing, and reversing or discarding them while using the elbows and knees to deal damage. Throughout all of this, Arashi also includes his kenjutsu in the form of his katana he is never without, making use of it's cutting edge as a one-up against opponents who wield kunai while it also tends to be his favorite shinobi tool. He tends to wield the blade in one hand to allow him freedom in continuing to fight in a wider melee sense, while still allowing him to forcefully add a variety of slashing, cutting, and peircing attacks to the fray.

But despite Arashi's off-set as a spectacular close-combat melee specialist, he is also talented with ninjutsu which he can incorperate at a moment's notice in the middle of combat. One constant display of this talent is his ability to use Shunshin no Jutsu on a whim without hand seals due to his constant meditation training granting him an unconscious level of control of the flow of chakra and how he can channel it to different portions of his body, like his legs. But that's not the extend of it, because Arashi has an extensive amount of chakra and is adept with lightning based jutsu, he also has the ability to incorperate those ninjutsu mid-combat with extreme effectiveness without hindering his melee combative style greatly. On an off-side to his capabilities, he is capable of performing but isn't adept with Genjutsu in any real form, thus discarding the style of combat due to his preference for the more offensive taijutsu and ninjutsu styles that he excells in.

Due to his full-frontal close-combat style, Arashi tends to prefer and actually openly enjoys being on the front lines in the heat of a deadly bout that could ultimately end him, and that mindset often gives people the wrong image of him. While at first glance Arashi may appear to merely be hot-headed and fly off the handle into danger, he is truely calmer in combat situations than in social ones unless his emotions are called into play and the latter becomes true to a point unless he calms down. Under normal conditions, Arashi becomes a very observant combatant, making use of his speed even on a mental level to swiftly study, analyze, and discover a way to beat his opponents in the heat of battle while fighting. This style of analyzing and fighting is something Arashi does alot as he's not one to stand aside, watch and wait to attack, nicknaming the style his "on-your-toes fighting" and seems to think that his style makes the fights he gets into more interesting. But despite this, and contrary to others's beliefs, Arashi works well in a team setting where he can't willingly rush off as he pleases and can display patience and obedience when needed although not very frequently.

Unfortunately, to accompany Arashi's various empowering traits in battle comes a decent amount of drawbacks and hinderances within his fighting style. The first being that his lightning/thunder-based jutsus are quite easily counterable by earth-type jutsus or by his opponent grounding themselves. He's very subseptable to genjutsu due to his lack on talent in the art, making him an easy target to trap within one. And Arashi is also easy to anger by using his emotions against him, and when he becomes angry and hot-blooded by becomes more wild and feral in his strategy and technique which makes it easier to overwhelm and beat him down.

Weapons
-Katana - A curved, single-edged 65 cm long sword that is traditionally used by japanese swordmen. The katana is primarily used for cutting, but it's curvature is gentle enough to allow one to effectively thrust it aswell. Though it is intended for use with a two-handed grip, many swordsman styles utilized with this blade tend to include several one-handed techniques or forms. The Katana tends to be acknowledged as the primary tool in most forms of kenjutsu all around and is a symbol of strength amongst swordsmen. Arashi's katana is a traditional katana bearing a silver steel blade, Habaki (collar), Tsuba (guard), and Fushi-kashira (pommel), a black leather Ito (braid wrapping), and is nicknamed "Shirasaya" by him, due it unique onyx-laquered honoki wood saya (sheathe) that it rests in.

-Kunai - A traditonal shinobi weapon originally designed as a throwing weapon, the kunai can also be made to use as a rther usefull hand-to-hand combat ready tool and can cause decent damage when used or thrown right. The blade is shaped like a squashed octahedron with a rod for a handle with a ring on th end, forming an extremely simple yet effective design for the dangerous weapon. It is made of tempered steel, with razor-sharp edges and a polished surface to reflect light when thrown as well as for making handling smoother. The handle is often wrapped in fabric for a better grip, in a variety of colors depending on the user. Arashi wraps his kunai with --- colored fabric.

-Shuriken - A traditonal shinboi weapon that is used for throwing and sometimes stabbing. They are small, sharpened, hand-held blades made a tempered steel much like their counter-part, the kunai. They often are seen resembling a 4-point star with a circular ring in the middle for holding. They are often a supplemental weapon for the more commonly used kunai, though they can often be used in a tactical role in battle.

-Smoke Bombs - small, gum-drop looking grey balls with a large amount of condensed smoke-like gas within. Often used to cloak a person's movements or retreat, these are often carried in a decent quantity by shinobi for those occasions when they're needed or if they can be used in conjunction with a particular jutsu. They are easily set off, as it merely takes a small amout of pressure to pop open one.

-Makibishi - Small, spiked caltrops used by shinobi to deter pursuit. They are often carried in a decent quantity so that if a shinobi should find themselves out-numbered or out-classes, they can scatter the makibishi on the ground before retreating to buy more time while their opponents weave through the dangerous, tiny threat to their feet.

-Shinobi Scrolls - Shinobi Scrolls would seem like a normal scroll with jibberish written on it to a normal civilian, but are highly usefull for shinobi as they can provide a number of purposes. Using specifically written incantations, shinobi can use a variety of scrolls to potentially carry a large number of weapons of objects within a small space without the burden of wieght the objects would present, to summon a very strong creature to aid in battle, to record information in ther blink of an eye, to keep supplies on hand constantly, and for a number of other purposes. To a shinobi, scrolls can often become an invaluable thing on and off the battlefield.

---E-Rank Ninjutsu
Kawarimi no Jutsu - (Substitution Technique)
-(E-rank, Supplementary) This jutsu lets the user quickly switch places with another nearby object, such as a log, an animal, or even another person within reach, leaving the opponent open to a counter-attack.
Henge no Jutsu - (Transformation no Jutsu)
-(E-rank, Supplementary) The user assumes the appearance of another person, animal, or object. This is one of the basic jutsu taught at the Ninja Academy. Fundamentally, all ninja know this justu although their skill is questionable.
Bunshin no Jutsu - (Clone Technique)
-(E-rank, Supplementary) This technique creates a clone of the user, but it is an illusion, not a real copy like the Kage Bunshin no Justu. The illusion will dissipate when they come into contact with anything and are also very easy to notice by normal eyes if one looks closely enough since Bunshins do not disturb their surrounding area. Also to Kekkei Genkai such as the Byakugan and Sharingan, the clones look like balls of chakra.
Kakuremino no Jutsu - (Cloak of Inivisibility Technique)
-(E-rank, Supplementary) This jutsu allows a ninja to take a cloak or a piece of cloth and blend into an object, making them invisible.
Nawanuke no Jutsu - (Rope Escape Technique)
-(E-rank, Supplementary) A basic technique taught at the Ninja Academy, this jutsu allows a ninja to free themselves if they have been tied up.
Jibaku Fuda: Kassei - (Exploding Tag: Activate)
-(E-Rank, Supplemntary) Utilizing chakra, the user is able to activate the explosion mechanism of a distant bomb tag.
Kinobori no Jutsu - (Act of Tree Climbing)
-(E-rank, Supplementary) Kinobori no Waza, the art of tree climbing serves a dual purpose. Taking part in Kinobori Shugyou (Tree Climcing Training) helps a ninja learn how to focus their chakra, and it also teaches them how to run up trees and walk up walls. The training helps the ninja learn how to focus just the right amount of chakra to a particular part of their body. The amount needed to climb is small but it must be precise. The feet are said to be the hardest location to learn how to master chakra focusing. So by gaining the art of this skill, the ninja will be able to have any jutsu available to him (theoretically) because she can focus chakra as needed. Next the chakra released must be properly controlled.
Suimen Hokou no Waza - (Act of Water Surface Walking)
-(E-rank, Supplementary) A variation of Kinobori no Waza, this technique allows the user to walk on water as if it's a solid surface. Focusing an even amount of chakra out the sole's of the feet, they can balance themselves on the surface of the water.

---D-Rank Ninjutsu
Shunshin no Jutsu - (Body Flicker Technique)
-(D-rank, Supplementary) A high-speed movement technique. A very basic justu taught at most Ninja Academies. Using chakra to activate the body, the user is able to move from one point to another faster than the naked eye can track. The amount of chakra used depends on the distance and elevation traveled aswell as the user's skill.
Jutsu Sho - (Technique Neutralize)
-(D-rank, Supplementary, Short to mid-range) This jutsu cancels or impedes the occurring of the opponent's technique. The drawback is that it uses the same amount of chakra as the jutsu it intends to cancel out.
Kanashibari no Jutsu - (Temporary Paralysis Technique)
-(D-rank, Supplementary, Short to mid-range) This technique is used to cause an opponent to lose the advantage of movement, freezing them in their tracks. The drawback is that it lasts for only as long as the user pours his chakra into it, and even then it can still be broken through with sheer brute force.
Dendou Kawarimi no Jutsu - (Electric Replacement Technique)
-(D-rank, Offensive, Defensive, Short range) This tehcnique incorporates combining an electricty and the standard Kawarimi no Jutsu. The user, when using the standard Kawarimi no Jutsu, simply uses his/her chakra to create a strong electric charge within whatever object is replacing the shinobi. When the replacement is struck, it delivers a powerful shock to whatever touches. The technique requires just a small amout of chakra more than the standard Kawarimi no Jutsu and requires the ability of said skill.
Rai Bunshin no Jutsu - (Lightning Clone Technique)
-(D-rank, Offensive, Defensive, Short to long range)The lightning clone is actually a ball of electricity in side a normal clone because the user's chakra sustains the lightning the clone can sustain limited amounts of damage and can also shock its opponent.

---C-Rank Ninjutsu
Raigeki no Yoroi - (Lightning Armor)
-(C-rank, Offensive, Defensive, Short range) By channeling chakra into his clothing, the user generates an electric current throughout the fabric and material. It is able to protects him by eletrocuting anyone who makes contact with it, and also serves to add an additional shocking effect to his attacks. The drawback is that is requires a mediocre amount of continually channeled chakra and can lead to chakra burn and severe exhaustion is used for a prolonged period of time.
Raiken - (Lightening Fist)
-(C-rank, Offensive, Short range) By channeling a select amounth of chakra to the user's fists and giving it an electirc charge, the user can add a poweful shock to their punches. The drain on chakra is a small but constant one, requiring a slightly slightly more to begin than it is afterwards as the jutsu goes on. A serious side-effect of this jutsu is that if the user uses the jutsu for too long it could result in chakra burn or a nervous 'twitch' due to the amount of electic charge focused within the fists and wrists.
Ikazuchi no Kiba (Thunder Fang)
-(C-rank, Offensive, Mid to long-range) By channeling his/her chakra into any edged weapon the user is holding through the connection made by their hands upon it, he/she can electrically charge said weapon to make it a deadlier tool in combat. Ikazuchi no Kiba is noticably by the slight yellowish glow and static electricty that appears on the user's weaponry upon activation and remains until the jutsu is over. A drawback to Ikazuchi no Jutsu is that it requires a mediorce amount of constantly channeled chakra to be converted to electric energy to maintain the jutsu. This drawback can lead to chakra burn aswell as exhuastion if used consecutively for too long.

---B-Rank Ninjutsu
Raikyu - (Lightning Ball)
-(B-rank, Offensive, Short range) After stringing together several hand seals the user can channel a large amount of chakra to the palm of his hand, and once it's gathered convert it into a visable ball of electric energy to strike at the enemy with. This jutsu is very destructive and potentially paralyze or tear through it's intended target upon contact depending on the amount of chakra used to create the Raikyu. The drawbacks are that it requires a substantial amount of channeled chackra to create and then a mediorce amount to keep it activated thereafter, It can only be used at close ranges unless the user has substantial speed and requires a small amount of time to create which can leave the user open to attack. A side-effect of the amount of chakra drawn out of the user when using Raikyu is that it forces the jutsu to become a last resort-type as it could only be used 2-3 times a day, depending on the user's chakra supply, before the user would faint from exhaustion.
Dai Raiken - (Grand Lightening Fist)
-(B-rank, Offensive, Short range) This jutsu is essentially just a more powerful version of the D-rank jutsu Raiken, requiring more chakra and capable of higher damage. By channeling a select amounth of chakra to the user's fists and giving it an electirc charge, the user can add a poweful shock to their punches. The drain on chakra is a small but constant one, requiring a slightly slightly more to begin than it is afterwards as the jutsu goes on. A serious side-effect of this jutsu is that if the user uses the jutsu for too long it could result in chakra burn or a nervous 'twitch' due to the amount of electic charge focused within the fists and wrists.
Raiton: Rairyudan no Jutsu - (Lightning Dragon Blast Technique)
-(B-rank, Offensive, Mid to long range) By stringing together the required hand seals, the user can channel the required chakra to perform this technique. This technique takes the user's chakra and condenses it into a space near them, then proceeds to ionize the positive air molecules and split them fro mthe electrons within the space over and over again as it becomes more and more conductive, taking all of just a few moments while the user does the hand seals and channels the chakra into it. Then, in an instant, the user discharges the conductive energy in the direction of the opponent, the attack taking the shape of a large bolt of lightning, embedded with chakra. resembling a chinese dragon with it's mouth open as it rockets at the opponent. If the attack hits, the victim(s) will most likely by electrocuted to a severe degree and possibly paralyze them, burn them, or in rare instances of a direct head-on hit, kill them. A downfall to this jutsu is that it's directional and is easy to evade if the user has atleast mediocre speed. The jutsu requires quite a decent amount of chakra to create the jutsu, but isn't draining enough to be detrimental.
Rairou no Jutsu - (Lightning Prison Skill)
-(B-rank, Offensive, Short range) Variant of Suiton Suirou no jutsu, and required one hand. The user traps the victim in a cubic square of lightning. Willingly the user can shock the trapped victim with a continuous amount of weak electric currents. If anyone else touches the outside of the prison will be shocked

---A-Rank Ninjutsu
Raiton - Hyakurai no Jutsu - (Lightning Element: One Hundred Thunder Claps Technique)
-(B-rank, Offensive, Defensive, Mid range) This technique involves a physical lightning component, and also a secondary sonic component. The user channels a large amount of lightning into their palms and then claps them together. The lightning is compressed and then forced out in a shockwave around the ninja that radiates for about twenty feet in every direction. While not deadly, the shock can be incapacitating. As a secondary effect, the clapping of the palms and discharge of lightning creates an abnormally large sound once described by the former Raikage as "the force of one hundred thunder claps" (hence the technique's name). This sonic component is much like a sonic boom and is able to shatter glass, rupture eardrums, and even knock people off their feet.

Hakumei Arashi - (Twilight Storm)
-(S-rank, Offensive, Short to mid range) By pouring his chakra out as he performs the dozen handseals in quick succession, Arashi can swiftly alter and manipulate the ions surrounding his entire vicinty and use his Kekkei Genkai to commence a ruefully devastating attack that can potentially destroy everything and everyone around him. The technique causes a swirling cloud to form overhead as the entire battlefield is ionized with Arashi's Bloodlimit ability, before a thunder strikes and announces the first thick bolt of lightning that strikes down at random, before being followed by several dozen more strikes in quick succession that seem to light the battlefield up as it strikes everything within the ionized field until everything is either destroyed of Arashi tires out. The fierce attack can easily tear around rocks, set fire to anything struck, and even cause a true storm to occur due to it's effects and can often last up to a whole two minutes before Arashi becomes tired enough to break the jutsu which he stands unharmed in the center of.

Kazaguruma Yaiba - (Windmill Blade)
-(D-rank, Defensive, Short range) The ninja spins a sword in front of him/her, generating a powerful fan-like effect that can disrupt most conventional ranged attacks.
Shushinken no Jutsu - (Body Flicker Sword)
-(D-rank, Defensive, Short range) If a ninja's sword is dislodged from his/her hand, this swift technique helps the sword disappear and reappear in either the jutsu user's hand or elsewhere close by.
Tsuppari Shuuha - (Thrust Wave)
-(C-rank, Offensive, Short range) Simply, the ninja gathers chakra into his weapon (with piercing attributes) and thrusts it forward, sending an invisible short-ranged shockwave out to hit the opponent. The weak shockwave is usually meant to stagger the opponent. Parrying or catching the weapon does not deter the shockwave.

Kekkai Genkai/Blood Limit/Special Abilities: Hakumei Kaminari (Twilight Thunder)
The Hakumei Kaminari Kekkei Genkai is a rather devastating ability when used to it's full potential. The Kekkei Genkai is activated by unsealing the inner 'lock' within one's mind and is signaled by the hazy yellow glow and white-yellow irises that appear on the user. This alone, and the sudden blanket of zingy static that seems to fill the area are the only notions that can possibly warn a person of it's use. If the warning signs aren't enough the nature of the Kekkei Genkai is enough to allow understanding of the ability, a capability to exact complete control over all things relating to lightning or thunder or more exactly the ability to actively effect the polarity of the electrons in the air anduse it to create, mold, and manipulate lightning and thunder to the user's will. Under normal conditions, a Hakumei Kaminari user couldn't control much more than before the reach of their hand, but the last surviving user Arashi Raiyate can hold control of his within a 50 meter radius of his body, due to experimentations performed upon him as a child, will fluid and simple ease. This noted, it also allows the user to double or triple the effectiveness and power of Raiton-type jutsu and abilities without increasing the chakra needed and thus making anyone with the Kekkei Genkai a Raiton-type master.

---Kotetsu Shinichiro - (Jounin Instructor)
-A tall blonde-haired man with a subdued and calm attitude about him. He always bore a grin and enjoyed teaching his Genin group despite being just an average Jounin. His trademark was his long overcoat and black choker that he always wore. Suzume and Hanzaki used to joke that he and Arashi were related due to their appearances being so similiar. He died during Arashi's loss of control over his Kekkai Genkai on a mission gone wrong.
---Suzume Matsui - (Genin Team Member)
-A short turqiouse-haired girl who was a year older than Arashi due to her staying back in the Academy once. She was a fiercely dedicated shinobi and prefered to be in the front lines fighting with them rather than standing behind. She punched Arashi more than once for trying to keep her from harm. She died when Arashi lost control of himself and used his Kekkai Genkai to tear apart the battlefield.
---Hanzaki Hyorinmaru - (Genin Team Member)
-A tall, masculine dark-haired boy of about Arashi's age who bore an attitude almost roughly equivilent of Arashi's and thus was a close companion and his unspoken best friend. He, much like Arashi, was subtly arrogant and was aways up for a challenge but constantly bordered on the edge of laziness and could often be found sleeping with a bag of chips over his face. He was the ninjutsu specialist of the group, having an excellent knowledge of various jutsus and excellecent chakra control but was average when it came to proper taijutsu. He was killed during a mission by a sudden attack by foreign shinobi, causing Arashi to snap and unleash his Kekkai Genkai upon the fight and ultimately kill everyone including his own allies.


History:
--Born on the stormy night of August 15th roughly 16 years past in Kumogakure no Sato (Village Hidden in the Clouds) within Kaminari no Kuni (Land of Lightning), Arashi Raiyate was born to a lucky couple from the Raiyate House, one of the few youths to have been born of the House in the last several years. But as fate would have it, he was born into a world full of danger and fighting as Kumogakure had begun a war with Konohagakure over trivial political matters and dominance when Arashi was merely four years old. This event alone left him alone, even as an infant, in the care of an elderly ex-shinboi couple under the watchful gaze of the mighty Raikage as the entire Raiyate House's supply of able-bodied shinobi were sent in to take up places against Konohagakure. But unfortunately tragedy would prove to be a beloved friend of Arashi in his youth as his parents, and the majority of his entire Raiyate House, returned to Kumogakure in body bags after haven been defeated by the Konohagakure shinobi. Leaving Arashi marked as an ophan of war. But with the war turning against him, the Raikage locked his sight o nthe potential the young Arashi could bring to them and help turn the tide and saught to do something to the boy that many within Kumogakure were against, ignoring the political outcries of his council.

In the middle of the war, as Konohagakure was begining to push back and slowly beat them down and people from the Raikage's own shinboi forces began to turn against him in an attempt to end the hostilities and salvage what they could, the Raikage set to work in an attempt to gain what he saw as unlimited power of the other villages by stealing the young six year old Arashi from his makeshift guardians to do something many considered forbidden and wrong. Shortly after abducting the young child, and telling the remain Raiyate House members that he had been killed in a surprise attack, he brought the young boy to the underground Kaminari Shrine with a group of Kumogakure specialists despite the complaints of his council members who pleaded to stop since they had already gained control of the Nekomata. There in the Shrine, over the course of several long hours, through which the young Arashi experienced some of the agonizing pain any shinobi would ever face in their life, experiments were conducted upon him so that he could become the Raikage's newest tool of war. But what he didn't realize that those who were closest to him were planning to usurp his plans to dominate the other shinboi village by using a defenseless child, who would block out the memories and never remember the pain he felt that night as his clan Kekkai Genkai trait was forcefully and painfully experimented with and strengthened.

It was only a few months later when a plan was put into motion to alter the course of the Raikage's plans and stop him another using another innocent child as his playtoy for war. Deep within the Raikage Manor, where the young Arashi was held captive while they awaited the manifestation of his enhanced Kekkai genkai to occur within him, were several of the newly rising seperatist shinobi who were hoping to stop the Raikage's war before too many lives were lost or their village fell into nothingness. Thus, with this mindset and the only chance they had, they broke the sleeping boy from his cell while using a ruckus outside the Manor as a distraction and proceeded to escape with him into the night before the Raikage's guards could become aware of what occured. In the still of the night, as the Raikage became furiously aware of his now missing war tool, several kumogakure shinboi assassinated their leader and replaced him with hopes of halting the war or at least preventing many casualties as they took the child into their own protective care and seated a new Raikage. When the boy woke up several days later, it was to find himself in an unfamiliar home with an ufamiliar man and woman calling him their son, unknowing of the genjutsu placed on him to make him believe that he was only a war orphan of Kumogakure and nothing more.

Arashi slowly adapted to the openly free and calm life of a simple civilian, the two undercover Kumogakure shinobi who were left to watch over him as he grew while haven discarded their lives as ninja to take up regular jobs and atleast try to act the part of a oddball family. But things slowly crumbled apart within the nextfew years as they settled themselves into a small apartment in the western side of Kumogakure. Arashi's faux parents had taken jobs that, while not being shinboi directly, put them in close quarters with them by opening up a shinboi wares store. It didn't take long before the serene life dissolved as his pretend father started to return home drunk beyond reason with mind enough to physically abuse Arashi over his troubles while his faux mother merely sat aside and complained, blaming Arashi for any misfortune that befell them. Thus Arashi spent the majority of his time until his eighth birthday hurt and alone, his image of a serene family life shattered by an abusive drunk man and depressed woman. But instead of suppressing him and crushing him, Arashi continued to push on wanting to become strong and was determined to accomplish that goal. And thus, he young eight year old boy signed himself up and enrolled in the Kumo Ninja Academy to prove his worth and become strong enough to stand up to the man who claimed to be his father.

To Arashi the next four years of life in the Ninja Academy were a godsend in comparison to his life at home, despite the rigourous training and lessons he went through during academy hours. But young Arashi never minded, to him the time away from home the greatest ever despite any physical or mental rough spots that he ran through. It was here that he first developed his prefered fighting style and began to train and perfect it and his form, in hopes of mastering the style one day. It was also at this time that he discovered his affinity to Raiton and Futon-type jutsus and displayed an uncanny ability to easily pick up and learn them in half the time normal students learned most jutsu. Arashi's time in the Academy wasn't always about work though, as much of his classmates always had half a mind to ditch under their Chuunin Instructor's nose. Luckily enough Arashi's Instructor was a lazy one, and was often kinder than most shinobi instructors in his consideration for the large band of misfits he taught. It was also in the Academy that Arashi would discover and first and only love interest in Aiko Kurayami, a fellow blonde haired and blue eyed academy student who was often the talk of the class and pined by many of the male students, but Arashi liked her on a deeper level for some reason he coud never explain. But despite his often outward arrogance and determined courage, he never once was able to get the nerve to talk to her during his time in the Academy. In the end, shortly after his twelveth birthday, he and the only girl he ever thought he could love parted ways when they graduated and they were seperated into different teams, never knowing if he's see the beautiful blonde Kureyami again.

But the quiet inner sadness of losing sight of an unknown love was placed in the back of Arashi's mind with his graduation and declaration as an official shinobi that allowed him to be assigned to a gennin team with two other academy students, Suzume Matsui and Hanzaki Hyorinmaru, aswell as a jounin instructor, Kotetsu Shinichiro. Arashi quickly adapted himself to the team, their jounin instructor being newly promoted and youthful while his two teammates were suited to work with him in both aspects of his style since one was skilled in taijutsu while the other was talented in ninjutsu, much to Arashi's benefit since he was thoroughly adapt with both. But despite their capabilityto work together easily and their powerful skills, Arashi's childish immaturity and arrogance constantly got him into trouble and tended to screw up the missions. But to him everything was great, even if he got scolded and had his pay docked, because he finally had a reason to stay away from the home that made him feel miserable, worthless, and alone. To him, he could just go on missions and become a great ninja and be happy and whenever he had to return to Kumogakure, he could just train late into the night so that he didn't have to return to the abuse that awaited him at home. Nearly a year's time passed by in this manner with Arashi taking missions with his team, becoming stronger, and creating deep bonds of friendship with those he worked with, never once realizing the stirring power within him that began to awaken and would soon take away that which made him happiest and show him the meaning of sorrow.

In his thirteenth year of life, in the midle of a rather cool spring, Arashi's team was issued a mission to escort a wealthy Feudal Lord to Konohagakure no Sato in time for an important meeting with the Raikage. They quickly set out and were deep within Hi no Kuni when they had found themselves in a deep forest, surrounded by a large band of thieves and ex-shinobi. By order of their contract, and because their own lives were at stake, Arashi's group engaged the bandits who came to kill the Fuedal Lord and steal what they could. It didn't take long for them to realize they were fighting a losing battle though, even with their Jounin's aid in the confrontation against the twenty or so opponents who just continued to get up again and again. As fate would have it, a heavy rain began to pour from the heavens above over the downhill struggle, the clear water mixing with blood upon the combatants and ground below. As the fight continued on a terrible event occured as Arashi and Hanzaki found themselves fighting of the bandits in the middle of the battlefield and were doing a decent job of holding them off until a terrible thing happened, Hanzaki took a large katana through his chest that pierced his heart. It had taken bearly a moment to occur, Arashi turning suddenly to watch his best friend and rival have a long, sharp blade thrust into his back and have it erupt from his chest in a spurt of crimson before collapsing into his grasp. The bandits closest to them all stood back and snickered as a tearfull Arashi watched as his teammate died in his lap, choking out a last painful sigh as he told Arashi to live and grow stronger, and in that moment the bandits learned regret in the worse fashion for not taking th chance to slay Arashi as he cradled his teammate.

With a feral scream burden with anguish that sounded more like thunder, the entire battlefield was silenced as a fierce thunderstorm suddenly shattered the ongoing battle and stuck again and again with renewable vigor as a young boy stood amongst the crowd bathed in an strange yellow glow and arching lightning gerenated by his chakra as white-yellow eyes watched the crowd around him be electrocuted to death with a blank stare. Nearly ten minuted passed by in quick succession until in the end, as the last few bolts of lightning struck the already tortured, crimson-stained land beneath and the rising smoke cleared away, an unharmed Arashi collapsed to the ground, almost as lifeless as the bandits aroun him because of the sudden drain upon his body that awakening his Kekkai Genkai inside him had caused. Several meteres from the battle field, a horrified Feudal Lord watched in terror before finally picking up the young boy and rushing to a nearby village to contact Kumogakure and tell them of the horrible occurance that had left three of their shinobi dead and one, strangely, alive and unharmed in any way.

In was nearly a week later that Arashi awoke with a start from the nightmares of the fight his mind had been feeding it, only to find himself in a bed at the Kumo Hospital. It was with confused horror that he learned of the events that had occured during the fight, being unable to remember much of anything that had occured and once again broke down as the realization that he had been the one to kill those he held dearest and he couldn't even remember what he did to cause it. After he had finally recovered and was released fro mthe hospital, it was only to be given more disheartening news when he was brought before the Raikage to be given his punishment. "For failure to complete your assigned mission, for using an unknown jutsu and killing your allies because of your lack of regard for saftey, and for endangering a client you are hereby removed the possibility of a team setting, and will remain without a proper team until I deem you worthy of such." Were the last words he had heard that day, the terribly words of the Raikage echoing in his head and blocking out everything else as he sat upon a rooftop under the pouring rain begging the heavens for forgiveness.

After that, Arashi spent much of his time in resolute seclusion from everyone and everything. Spending the next three years of his life alone and dedicating himself entirely to only his training and missions despite being stripped of his team member rank as a genin that cost him a good amount of pay. His renewed drive to be the strongest shinobi in Kumogakure no Sato continued to be fueled by not only his failures in the past and the lost of his team at his own hands, but also by his inability to aid anyone in a fateful invasion led by an Kumo's neary neighbors which destroyed his old home, took the lives of his false parents, and left him feeling even more alone and pathetic then he had ever been in his life. Driven by the ghosts of his past and the constant news of his old classmates constant achievements making him want to be just as strong, Arashi continues to push forward to become stronger and discard his lonliness and pain to find happiness and friendship. Because of this, Arashi spends most of his time training his body and mind, learning new Raiton jutsus, mastering or designing new taijutsu techniques, taking various solo missions in and out of Kumo, and if nothing else he just lays himself out on a shaded tree near the Raiyate Clan Cemetary while he fills himself up on dango and onigiri. Despite his past and whatever blenishes may mark his future, beneath his rough and arrogant exterior Arashi looks ahead in hopes of a brighter tomorrow with a kind smile pointed toward the heavens where he hopes his old team are at peace. It is this mentally that drove him forward and through the ranks in time until upon his 18th birthday, the shinobi who once assassinated the Raikage to free him handed over the crown and title to the young Raiyate and he achieved his dream and goal of becoming the greatest Kumogakure shinobi. To this day, he continues to train and become stronger so that he can tear down any who oppose him and honor the names of those he lost in his young life.
